Another no trade stream - we were patient amidst contract roll and an awkward bullish open against a bearish higher time frame context

Heading into the open, we discussed comparing the bullishness of the push up from globex against the recent 3 day trend (last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) of lower highs and lower lows. We discussed the importance of remaining patient; while the price action was fast, it lacked the clean "A+" setup we look for to risk capital on stream. Additionally, roll orderflow is notoriously difficult to read. I just didn't see any edge between the price action, where we opened, and the gamma and vanna surfaces.
Summary
This was an "analysis-only" stream where we prioritized reading the tape and understanding the VannaCharm data over forced execution. We discussed because of the difficulty of the open (above Friday's open but not yet above Friday's highs), the auction could go either way.
