A Variety of New Charts in the Live Dashboard

We just pushed a huge chart and layout update to the live symbol overview dashboard, with several new charts and chart controls aimed at making the page easier to read during the session.

This post is a quick walkthrough of all of the new charts and tables, and how to use them.

1. New Cumulative Order-Flow Chart

We added a new chart that tracks:

  • Cumulative Call Buying
  • Cumulative Put Buying
  • Cumulative Call Selling
  • Cumulative Put Selling

This gives you a quick directional read on whether intraday options activity is skewing opening vs closing pressure in calls and puts over time, rather than only looking at the latest moment.

2. Exposure Charts: Bar by Default, Optional Legacy Line View

Gamma, Vanna, Charm, Net, and GEXVEX exposure charts now default to bar mode.

You can still switch back to the old line mode with the "Show legacy line charts" toggle.

This was a very often requested feature and follows other popular tools like SpotGamma. Bars tend to make per-strike walls and cliffs a bit easier to spot quickly, especially during fast intraday moves.

3. Open Interest Changes: Split Calls/Puts Tables

The open interest changes table is now split into two side-by-side views: the calls table is on the left in green, and the puts table is on the right in red. The current spot is also now shown directly on the yellow line between them.

4. OI Change-by-Strike Bar Chart

We also added a strike-level OI changes chart where:

  • calls are plotted on the left side of zero
  • puts are plotted on the right side of zero

This gives a fast visual for where OI is expanding/contracting by strike, and complements the split tables below.

5. Net Total Exposure + Spot Over Time (Dual Axis)

Yet another new chart tracks:

  • net total exposure over time (left axis)
  • resulting spot-to-cover estimate (right axis)
  • current spot (right axis)

We also included a horizontal zero line on exposure so you can quickly see when dealers move from net negative to net positive and vice versa.

Chart Toolbar to Show/Hide Sections

With many more charts now available, we added a chart toolbar so you can check/uncheck what is visible.

You can now toggle individual chart blocks, select all, or clear all. Each change will automatically be saved so your preferred layout will be there whenever you return to the live symbol overview page.

This was needed as the page has grown into a full monitoring workspace rather than a single-chart view.

Summary

This release is mostly about readability and control: seeing more of the right information, faster, with less chart clutter.

As always, if there's another chart or control you want in the live dashboard, just let us know!
